My Story

I didn’t set out to teach movement. I was healed by it.

I teach the why behind how the body moves, across reformer, yoga and mobility.

My Story

The Injury

At seventeen, I was told my shoulder would never move the same way again. Surgery had gone as well as it could, but the doctors were clear, I would lose mobility and never have it fully functional again. I remember being more frustrated than afraid. My body had always been the one thing I trusted.

The Practice

Someone close to me had trained in yoga in India, and she refused to accept what the doctors had said. We started slowly, a few minutes some days, longer on others, always patient, never forced. Weeks turned into months. My shoulder came back, fully. But something else came with it too, a way of paying attention to my own body that I had never had before.

Rishikesh

In 2018, I was made redundant. Instead of jumping straight into another job, I flew to Rishikesh, India, to properly learn about myself and what had actually healed me, because I loved yoga and wanted to understand it, not to change careers. I spent almost ninety days there, training and getting certified in Kundalini and Vinyasa yoga. When I came back, I continued training here, in Yin yoga and sound healing.

Finding the Reformer

Years later, I applied for a position at a studio. The owner asked me to demonstrate a class in yoga, saw something in how I moved and how I taught, and offered to cover half the cost of reformer training if I took that on too. I said yes before I really knew what I was agreeing to. I fell for the reformer almost immediately, the precision of it, the way it makes you honest with your own body. I started bringing the two together, reformer and yoga, into one way of working with people.

Vietnam

On the first day of a two-week holiday, Hanoi was my first stop, and I went straight to a small place called Notes Coffeeshop. Pinned there was a note someone had left: “follow your dreams, it will make you happier.” I wasn’t running from frustration, I was genuinely grateful for my years in a senior corporate role, they taught me how to lead, how to listen, how to deliver under pressure. But a quiet question had been sitting with me for a long time, was there more, a deeper way I was meant to serve. That note was the nudge. In May 2025, I answered it. I left to teach, full time. Not a side project. The work I actually want to spend my life doing.

From Pain to Purpose

From a shoulder that was never supposed to move freely again, to a coffee shop in Hanoi where I chose to teach for the rest of my life. From pain to purpose.

Today

Today, I wake up grounded in purpose, not chasing goals. I get to help people move through pain and back into strength, one to one. Beyond my own clients, I mentor and support other instructors and studios building the same kind of practice. It makes me genuinely happy, and I still don’t take it for granted that this is mine to do.

If you’re standing at your own crossroad, wondering what’s next, let’s work together.

What I Bring

In Dubai, I teach reformer Pilates, yoga and mobility, three modalities, and we build the plan around what your body needs.

My speciality is stretch, strength and conditioning for the lower back and hips, the area where most of the pain and tightness I see in clients actually starts.

My training includes reformer, mat Pilates, yoga, mobility, breath work and anatomy. I built my own approach, the R.E.A.L Method, and use it in every session, stay tuned to learn more about it.

What this means for you is a session built around what your body needs that day, sometimes reformer, sometimes yoga, sometimes a mix of both, depending on how your body is feeling and what it’s ready for.

What I Believe

Movement is medicine, and the body and the nervous system are one system, not two. So I teach the reason behind every movement. You learn to read your own body rather than follow a count. Nothing is forced. Every layer is created to help you strengthen based on your body.

How I Teach

I was taught precision and control, and that is how our sessions are designed. Before we move, I tell you why we’re doing it, so you understand what your body is actually doing instead of just copying what you see in front of you.

The session adjusts to your body, it is never the other way round. If something doesn’t suit you on a given day, we change it, right there, no ego about the plan.

Where to Start

The best place to begin is a conversation. Tell me what your body is dealing with and what you want to feel like, and I’ll tell you honestly whether I can help.

I write occasionally about movement, pain and the nervous system. No schedule, no noise. Join the newsletter
